What makes our rums unique?
aging process: Unlike many other spirits, Panama Rons are aged in ex-bourbon barrels whereas Dos Monarcas XO RON, starts its ageing in ex-bourbon barrel in Panama and finish its ageing in French oak barrels, in Bordeaux France, for a minimum of one years, and often much longer. During this time, our Dos Monarcas Xo Ron, takes on the flavours and aromas of the wood, developing a rich, complex profile that can include notes of vanilla, caramel, and spice. The longer a Rum is aged, the more complex its flavours become, making it a popular choice among connoisseurs.
distillation process: Our rums are distilled in a copper pot still process which allows for a slow, gentle distillation process that helps to preserve the delicate aromas and flavors of the rum.
